Gettysburg Drum Corps, ca. 1908

This is somewhat interesting. eBay item no. 190329246311 from eBay seller libertysales1 ( 6127) is described as follows:

THIS ANTIQUE 1908 GETTYSBURG DRUM CORPS PARADE DRUM CAME FROM LOCAL [Pennsulvania) ESTATE.

BOTH WOOD END RINGS ARE 16 INCHES IN DIAMETER - INCLUDES 4 PIECES OF ANOTHER WOOD RING THAT MAYBE WENT AROUND THE DRUM + 5 LEATHER PARTS + 11 CAST IRON PARTS THAT HOLD THE 2 WOOD RINGS ON DRUM !!

DRUM IS MARKED INSIDE " GDC EUGENE HARDEDIAH GETTYSBURG APRIL 1 ' 08 GETTYSBURG DRUM CORPS " AND ON THE OUTSIDE " GETTYSBURG DRUM CORPS ".

THE OWNERS NAME IS HARD TO READ IT MAY BE CLOSE BUT NOT 100 % CORRECT AGAIN ITS HARD TO READ.

DRUM NEEDS REPAIR AS SHOWN ITS OVER 100 YEARS OLD - I SEE NO MANUFACTURES NAME ON IT - THE ROUND BARREL OF DRUM IS IN SOLID SHAPE SO I THINK DRUM CAN BE REPAIRED BUT I'LL LEAVE THAT TO THE BUYER !!

Enough shouting and exclamation points? I am sorry but even that is not enough to make this turn of the century (last century) drum interesting.
